In each case, Capita Tech successfully managed complicated migrations of data with hundreds of thousands of cases and multiple existing databases.

Capita Tech’s team accurately completes the following tasks as part of our trusted and proven migration process:

• Each of your databases is mapped to CapitaCase, reviewing any business, operational and conditional logic that may be needed to improve the migration integrity.
• In-depth business logic is written to resolve duplicate data across multiple databases. The business logic identifies what data fields should be considered the master in various conversion circumstances throughout the migration process.
• Small sample conversions are run and reviewed by all parties in the new system. Additionally, Capita Tech keeps an exception report to identify erroneous data, or data that can’t be mapped.
• More intricate business logic to handle special exceptions (i.e. if this is x, then map the field to y, and set the status to z). In some circumstances, some data may need to be cleaned in the existing system or stored in a case note.
